drift on
hello again.
I really need to make this blog more consistent, don't I? I will try to do better. Here's the problem though: life is soooo boring sometimes!
I know, I know - life is fascinating and just sitting staring at the sky for 5 minutes can bring on paragraphs of inspiration - but sometimes things just seem . . . painfully boring.
But, maybe it's not boredom that's the culprit here . . . maybe it's exactly the opposite . . . total intellectual stimulation. Could it be that I'm so busy with school and work and lessons and friends and church and exercize and sleep (breathe) that it's hard to find time to sit and stare at the sky and bring on the paragraphs of inspiration? Sheesh, if such is the case, then life IS boring.
Hrmmmm . . . perplexed.
ok. here's a recap. micro-machines style.
Friday the 22nd:
I carved a pumpkin that resembled Strongbad. It was quite fun. I still need to carve trogdor and strongsad - just for fun. I even got a white pumpkin for strongsad. that'll be fun.
Saturday:
Hell froze over and I went out on a date! I know, amazing. No, really - I'm not kidding. It was great. My first date in a little less than 3 years. Crazy, I know. It was quite fun. Good times, good times.
Sunday:
Bishop gave the annual morality speech. that was a blast.
Monday - Friday:
Work, school, sleep, starve.
Friday night:
Played Arctic Thunder at the Wilk arcade center. That was fun! Watched "House on Haunted Hill" Laughed my head off. Such a classic B&W haunted house flick. My favorite part is the very end when the skeleton is prancing around the room. Classic.
Saturday:
Watched "the Others" for the 3rd or 4th time. Still a good flick. Piano part still gets me.
Sunday Night:
Had our last choir practice for Stake conference. The Stake choir is truly amazing here. We're singing truly difficult pieces, and on November 14th we'll have our thanksgiving fireside - where we'll be directed by none other than Mac Wilberg. I'm looking forward to that.
This Week:
I've been going to the gym in the mornings. That has been really nice. I find that my energy is slowly increasing - along with my mood. Hooray for endorphins!
So, there's a quick recap. I hope to do better in the future at keeping regular updates in place. So long for now - I've got some Algebra to tackle.
